New London Republicans join with businesses to conduct scavenger hunt
New London — The New London Republican Town Committee is spearheading a painted rock scavenger hunt for New London children with ice cream as a reward.
The RTC, in partnership with Berry’s Ice Cream and Candy Bar and Captain Scott’s Lobster Dock, is hiding specially painted rocks throughout the city and posting clues on its Facebook page about where they are hidden.
Go to Facebook.com/NewLondonRepublicans every day starting on May 25 and continuing through June 6 to find the location of a rock with the RTC logo. The logo contains an elephant. The rock can be turned in for a free ice cream cone at either Berry’s or Captain Scott’s.
Children only, please.
