Groton City meal distribution site for children moving Monday to Shennecossett Road

Beginning Monday, June 1, the Groton City site for Groton Public Schools’ Grab & Go Meals distribution is changing to 346 Shennecossett Road. Friday is the last day for meals at West Side STEM Magnet Middle School.

Grab & Go Meals also are distributed at Groton Public Library at 52 Newtown Road and Mary Morrisson Elementary School at 154 Toll Gate Road.

The meals are offered at the three sites from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday (breakfast & lunch for one day) and 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday (breakfast and lunch for three days). The free meals are available to Groton Public Schools families for all children in the home age 18 and younger.
