Waterford — The skies over Harkness Memorial State park were full Saturday — with colorful kites.

John Rose, of John Rose Kite-Flying Family & Friends of Lisbon, was among those who came for Kite Flying Day at the park. He got a little help from his daughter Donna Slaga of Canterbury to get his array of animal kites in the air.
