New London — A light rain didn't stop Bambi Leale of Somers and her daughter Caitlin from taking a walk along the Pequot Avenue beaches Thursday.
They are vacationing in the city this week. "It's a nice change of scenery," Bambi said.
The weather is forecast to clear up Friday, with temperatures in the mid-70s along the shore and inland. Expect a lot of sun over the weekend, with some clouds Sunday and Monday.
