Bus rides to polls offered to Norwich voters Tuesday
Norwich — Bus rides to the polls will be offered from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday from several urban areas of Norwich, sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Norwich and the Norwich NAACP branch.
Buses will run from Rosewood Manor, 335 Hamilton Ave.; Hamilton Park Apartments, 281 Hamilton Ave.; Pukallus Apartments, 110 Pukallus Ave., and Schwartz Manor, 382 Laurel Hill Ave., to and from the American Legion polling place on Laurel Hill Avenue.
Buses will run from Westwood Park housing complex, 10 Westwood Park; Eastwood Court, 20 Stanley Place; Chase Manor I and II, 85 Norman Road, and Village Court, 70 Mechanic St., to and from the Stanton School polling place, 386 New London Turnpike.
Buses will run from Wequonnoc School, 155 Providence St., and from the Greeneville playground to Central Avenue to and from the Rose City Senior Center polling place, 8 Mahan Drive.
And buses will run from St. Jude Commons, 3 Myrtle Drive, to and from the Samuel Huntington School, 80 West Town St.
Four buses, three sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Church and one by the NAACP, will make the runs.
