MLK Jr. services go virtual in New London
New London — Several annual events in the city to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. are going virtual this year.
On Sunday, the board of trustees of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Fund presents the 37th Ecumenical Service in honor and celebration of King's life’s work. The virtual event starts at 3 p.m. and can be viewed at www.mlktrustfund.org/live or on Facebook.
Shiloh Baptist Church and the Southeastern Connecticut Ministerial Alliance will host a virtual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. community service at 10 a.m. on Monday. The event will be streamed on the Shiloh Facebook page and YouTube channels. There is an option to call in by dialing (860) 215-2220.
