Poetry in a Pandemic: COVID holidays

    Wherever you would wander

    Wherever you would roam

    In this time of COVID

There is no place like home

    Take care with your dinners

    Your family and friends

    We can all be together

    When the pandemic ends

Pamela Larabee lives in Uncasville after 12 years in Florida. “I am so happy to be home again in Connecticut,” she said. “My husband passed away in 2015 and I knew that Connecticut was the only place for me. I am loving Uncasville. Such a nice town and very nice people.”

The Times is offering local readers a chance to share their poetry written during or related to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. To contribute, email times@theday.com.
