Snowman on the fairway
Groton — Friends Evie Mathanool, Madie Aldinger and Katie Tuohy, all 15 and from Groton, built a snow person — and took a selfie with it — atop a hill between the 16th and 17th fairways of the Shennecossett Golf Course.
They said they usually go sledding on the hills of the course but on Friday opted for the snow construction first.
