Warmer weather in store for southeastern Connecticut
New London — If you were feeling down with the cool, damp weather lately, you're in luck: warmer weather is on the way.
High temperatures are expected to be in the low to mid-40s for the rest of the week in southeastern Connecticut, according to the Meteorological Studies and Weather Center at Western Connecticut State University. Highs could reach 50 inland on Sunday.
And though the weather is expected to be breezy, it's also forecast to be partly to mostly sunny for the next few days, though Saturday could see cloudy skies and some rain.
