Groton — Austin Deutsch and his daughter Blessing, 11, of Groton enjoyed lunch Thursday in the parking lot of the Groton Dairy Queen.

Austin said when he noticed the picnic tables were closed due to COVID-19, they decided to eat in the bed of his truck.

"Trucks are made to get dirty, right?" he said with a laugh at some ice cream he dropped.
