USS Providence arrives home in Groton
Groton — The crew members of the USS Providence (SSN 719) arrived back at the Naval Submarine Base during the submarine's homecoming Thursday.
Their families and friends were awaiting their arrival in a nearby parking lot.
During its seven months at sea, the Los Angeles-class fast-attack submarine supported national security interests and maritime security operations.
