Christopher Morrell, 9, and his mother Brandi, of Groton, fly a kite at the University of Connecticut's Avery Point campus in Groton on Monday, April 5, 2021.
"This is just perfect kite flying weather," said Brandi of the wind conditions. The two decided to spend some time in the morning at the campus with the kite as Christopher had the day off from school.
