    After rain Wednesday, region could see late frost Thursday night

    New London — The region saw a soggy Wednesday.

    Thursday is forecast to be partly sunny, though still cool, according to the Meteorological Studies and Weather Center at Western Connecticut State University. Highs are expected to be in the upper 40s, while lows will dip into the low 30s, potentially bringing a late frost.

    Temperatures are expected to climb into the upper 50s and lower 60s Friday and Saturday, along with more sun.
