Paula and Glenn Peltier, owners of A Cut Above Hair Design LLC, have announed their acquisition of That Look Salon, A Full Service Hair & Nail Salon in East Lyme owned by Susan Parkinson.

“The acquisition of That Look fits into our current business strategy to offer the best customer service experience in the latest hair services along with the best products,” the Peltiers said in a release. “By purchasing That Look Salon, we have acquired a very talented, award winning staff that furthers our company’s goals to offer the best customer service with expanded services in the future and continue to be an integral part of the East Lyme community.”

That Look will be managed by Kristen Guzzo of Essex and Rachel Chaplin of Waterford.

“What started out as some conversations with Sue about processes on re-opening the salons after the COVID shutdown turned into Susan wanting to sell the salon, and wanting to retire to Florida,” Paula Peltier said in the release. “Both businesses will continue to operate separately for a very long time.”

The salon’s hour sare 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7.p.m Friday and 8 a.m to 3 p.m. on Saturday. For more information, call (860) 739-3459.
