East Lyme — Fishermen were pulling up shellfish trays Thursday while out on Niantic Bay on an overcast day.

Friday was forecast to be partly sunny with fair-weather clouds, and windy, with highs in the lower to upper 60s across the region, according to the Meteorological Studies and Weather Center at Western Connecticut State University.
