In the libraries: Folktales on tap in Waterford
Sara deBeer’s presentation of “Tales of Wit and Wisdom” will be conducted virtually at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15.
Folktales celebrate the struggles, challenges and triumphs of everyday life. Attendees will enjoy this storytelling of complex traditional tales collected from a variety of world cultures.
A riveting entertainer who can delight audiences of all ages, Sara deBeer is a teaching artist affiliated with the Connecticut Storytelling Center, a storyteller for the Partner’s Program at the Bushnell Theater. Along with being a featured artist at the Connecticut Storytelling Festival in New London, Sara has performed at the Three Apples Festival at Harvard and Hartford’s First Night.
