Visitors celebrate Moby-Dick and its author during celebration at Mystic Seaport Museum
Mystic — Participants enjoy the Moby-Dick and & Melville Celebration at the Mystic Seaport Museum on Sunday, August 1, 2021.
The museum's annual event was in honor of the author, Herman Melville's 202nd birthday. The event featured readings of select chapters of the novel as well as performances and a talk by Melville scholar Mary K. Bercaw-Edwards on "Melville, Moby-Dick, and the Morgan."
