Heidi Rivera, longtime assistant spa director for The Norwich Spa at Foxwoods, is taking over as spa director for The Norwich Spa & Salon at Graduate Providence.

All three spas are owned and operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation.

Rivera began her career in the mid-1990s as the lead nail professional at the then Grand Salon at Foxwoods. Rivera’s career took her to GSPA at Foxwoods in 2008 as salon manager until she found her way to The Norwich Spa at Foxwoods in 2017 as assistant spa director.

“Her attention to detail, positive attitude and thoughtful approach to guest service are all characteristics that professionals in this industry strive for day to day,” said Kim Gagliardo, executive spa director, The Spa at Norwich Inn.

“Heidi did such an amazing job at our Norwich Spa at Foxwoods that when it came time to fill this critical position within our company, it was an easy decision,” said John O’Shaughnessy, president of the Spa at Norwich Inn.
