Colchester road race held in memory of child who died after cancer battle
Colchester — Despite the rain Saturday, the Kyle's Smile 5K Road Race was held here, with the finish line at Colchester Town Hall.
The race is in memory of Kyle Ashley, who died at the age of 7 in 2018 after battling bone cancer.
Proceeds go to support new playground equipment at Colchester RecPlex.
