    The Mayflower II, replica of the vessel that carried the Pilgrims to America in 1620, docks at City Pier in New London Tuesday night.

    Mayflower was towed from its berth in Plymouth, Massachusets by the tugboat Jaguar on Monday, overnighting in New Bedford that night. The ship will leave City Pier early Wednesday morning with plans to be at Mystic Seaport Museum shortly after daybreak.

    Plans are for Mayflower to be in Mystic until early april undergoing routine maintenance and a coast guard inspection.
