Mystic River just ducky for buffleheads
Mystic — A small flock of bufflehead ducks was diving for food Thursday in the Mystic River.
The bufflehead is a species of small diving ducks that spends its summers in the Great Plains and Rocky Mountains of Canada, only migrating to the Connecticut shoreline in the winter.
