Groton — There was snow on the ground again Friday, and Janice Tripp, visiting from North Conway, N.H., didn't want her grandchildren sitting in the house all day watching TV.
Wanting them to get some exercise, she brought her granddaughter Eleanna Maldonado, 6, of Groton and her other grandchildren, Sebastian, 7, and Scarletrose (cq) Tripp, 13, of Meriden to Washington Park in Groton to spend time sledding.
