Father and son get some outdoor activity at Waterford Beach Park
Waterford — Colin McGovern of Waterford was at Waterford Beach Park with his surfboard and his son, Camden, 8, on Thursday.
McGovern, who was paddling in the prone position for an upper-body workout Thursday, said he surfs in Rhode Island and exercises at Waterford Beach year-round. When it's cold, he said, he uses a thicker wetsuit with a hood.
