Groton — Crews were unloading a U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster cargo aircraft Tuesday on the tarmac at Groton-New London Airport.
The plane was carrying personnel and equipment in advance of Vice President Kamala Harris' visit Wednesday to deliver remarks during the Class of 2022 commencement ceremony at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London.
