The team at The Day's Housing Solutions Lab recently launched a yearlong investigation into the housing market in New London County. But before we can find solutions, we need to hear from YOU about problems finding a place you can afford.

Are you scrambling to find a new place because your rent went up or your landlord sold the building?

Are you staying at a motel, couch-surfing with friends or living out of your car because you don't have other options?

Are you on a waiting list for a federal housing voucher or subsidized housing?

Are you living with your parents because you can't afford to rent or buy in this market?

Are you a retiree looking to downsize and having a hard time finding options in your community?

Everyone's story is different. What's yours?

We're looking for people willing to invite a reporter and photographer into their lives as they share the impact housing affordability has had on them. If that sounds like you, please contact staff writer Elizabeth Regan at (860) 701-4216 or e.regan@theday.com.
