Two Waterford police officers promoted
Waterford — The town honored two of its police officers Thursday with promotions.
Chief Marc Balestracci gave promotions to Sgt. David Ferland, to the rank of lieutenant, and Officer Michael Firmin, to the rank of sergeant, during a ceremony at the police department.
"The future of our agency is bright," Balestracci said. "Lt. Ferland and Sgt. Firmin, you are being promoted for the hard work you have done, but also for the belief that you can do more."
