    Taking Care of Business: Grand re-opening held in Plainfield at Villa Maria Nursing & Rehab

    Villa Maria Nursing & Rehabilitation in Plainfield held a grand re-opening celebration on Monday, June 6.

    The event was held after Wachusett Healthcare purchased Villa Maria in September 2021, from the Disco family.

    Nearly 70 guests were in attendance, including Plainfield First Selectman Kevin Cunningham; state Sen. Heather Somers, R-Groton; Northeast Connecticut Chamber of Commerce Board President Sheila Frost; Plainfield Business Association President Russell Phipps; Plainfield Economic Development Director Jordan Lumpkins, as well as area business owners and Day Kimball Hospital representatives.
