A friendly water fight among neighbors

Groton — The Johnson and Kitzman girls, neighborhood friends from Ledyard, had fun in the water Wednesday while their families, and four other families from other towns in southeastern Connecticut, spent the day together enjoying the weather at Eastern Point Beach in Groton.

The group of friends comprised six mothers, a father and a total of 20 kids.
