Groton polling places for primary, general elections announced
Groton — Polling places in Groton have been announced for the Aug. 9 primary and Nov. 8 general election. Voting hours are 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The polling places are as follows:
District 1: Groton Public Library, 52 Newtown Road
District 2: Thames River Magnet School, 250 Brandegee Ave. (new location)
District 3: City Municipal Building, 295 Meridian St.
District 4: Mary Morrisson Elementary School Building, 154 Tollgate Road
District 5: School Administration Building, 1300 Flanders Road
District 6: Mystic River Magnet School, 160 Fishtown Road (new location)
District 7: Fitch High School, 101 Groton Long Point Road
People who have questions or want to check their registered party can call (860) 441-6650. For absentee ballots, they can call the town clerk’s office at (860) 441-6640.
