    In the Galleries: 'Lyme of Yesteryear' exhibit coming to Lyme Public Hall

    The exhibit “Lyme of Yesteryear” opens at the Lyme Public Hall Sunday, July 3. Photographs and research from the Bacdayan Local History Archives recall one-room schools, mills, farms and river enterprises that existed in early 20th century Lyme.

    Memories of times past from local residents will also be featured. Admission is free; the public is encouraged to visit before or after the traditional parade on the 4th of July, or one of three additional dates.

    Exhibit hours are: Sunday, July 3, 2-5 p.m.; Monday, July 4, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Saturday, July 9, 2-5 p.m.; Sunday, July 10, 2-5 p.m.

    This exhibit has been organized by the Archives Committee of the Lyme Public Hall and Local History Archives, Inc. The Lyme Public Hall is located at 249 Hamburg Road (Route 156) in Lyme. For more information go to lymepublichall.org.
