Ledyard― The Democratic Town Committee will sponsor a hike and lunch at Colonel Ledyard Park on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. which will include the opportunity to meet candidates including Ashley Gillece who is running for state representative from the 43rd District.

Participants will meet at the DeMuria Pavilion at 10 am. The hike will begin at 10:20 a.m. and continue for 30 to 45 minutes. After the hike, committee members will grill lunch for attendees from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Participants are welcome to attend either the hike or the lunch or both.
