Stonington ― Kurt Adamcewicz, a commercial fisherman aboard the vessel Starbrite, tosses a fish to be processed at Gambardella Wholesale Fish at the Town Dock in Stonington on Thursday.
He said the crew of the Stonington-based fishing boat got back late Wednesday evening from a 48-hour trip off the coast of New Jersey where they caught squid, fluke, porgies and other fish. Starbrite is part of the Empire Fisheries fleet.
