    Dvorak becomes executive director of Senior Resources

    Senior Resources, Eastern Connecticut’s Agency on Aging, has selected Alison Dvorak as executive director. She will succeed Joan Wessell, who recently retired following 36 years of agency service. Dvorak has extensive business, management and healthcare experience, including 13 years in agency roles as director of education and training; registered dietitian; elder justice lead; and senior Medicare patrol coordinator.

    “I look forward to continuing to develop and provide programs and services that help people live a long and healthy life right here in Connecticut,” said Dvorak.

    Senior Resources is committed to being a trusted resource offering free, unbiased information, referral, and assistance, regarding all aspects of Aging. As a private non-profit established under the Older Americans Act of 1965, Senior Resources responds to needs of adults ages 60, throughout 56 towns in eastern Connecticut and beyond.
