Trimming the ravelin

New London ― Patrick Morgan, a seasonal worker with the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, uses a cord trimmer to cut grass on the top of the ravelin of Fort Trumbull on Tuesday.
A ravelin is an angular stone structure that protects the entrance of the fort from a land attack.
