The Noank Volunteer Fire Company announced it will hold its annual open house 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12.

The open house will feature fire safety exhibits, materials to take home, and fire engines and rescue vehicles on display. The open house will be held rain or shine, according to a news release.

There will be free hot dogs, hamburgers, snacks and desserts, and T-shirts will be for sale. A raffle will be held at 1:30 p.m.

“People are encouraged to stop by and talk with one of the members about current volunteer opportunities,” the release states. “Young children are welcome if accompanied by parent or guardian. Donations are welcomed.”

The fire company is located at 10 Ward Avenue in Noank at the entrance to the village. Parking is available along Ward Avenue just north of the firehouse.
