    Last day at the beach

    Groton ― Charity Burns took her four children to Eastern Point Beach Thursday and watched while they worked together to make a river in the sand.

    Burns said her children are homeschooled and they will start class Friday, so it was their last beach day.

    Burns and her children are in the process of moving from Washington and they are spending a couple of weeks in Groton with friends before moving to Newport, R.I. next week to meet up with her husband who is in the Navy.
