    Painting the marsh

    East Lyme ― Due to the nice weather, Rocky Neck State Park was a popular location Friday.

    Artists Barbara Lussier, of Hadlyme, Beverly Schirmeier, of Westbrook, and Jeanne O’Brien, of Deep River, members of the Lyme Art Association, took advantage of the weather creating oil and pastel paintings of the park’s marsh.

    Andy Rogalski and his wife, Anna Rogalska, of Newington, said they came to the beach because it was beautiful weather and they didn’t know how much longer we will have the nice weather.
