25th Annual Batter Up Baseball Camp — Session 1: July 16-20; Session 2, July 23-27. Open to all players ages 5-12 (Little League eligible), 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. each day, Bridebrook Park, East Lyme. Fee: $155 per session (discounts may apply for siblings and/or campers attending both sessions). 10th annual Bearathon 5K — Monday, May 28, beginning at 10 a.m. Also includes a two-mile walk. Race begins and ends at the Mystic branch of the Ocean Community YMCA.
