    New London — Connecticut College scored three straight goals to beat Mitchell College, 3-1, Tuesday in men's soccer action at Alumni Field.

    Trevor Prophet had his team-leading ninth goal of the season and added an assist and Graham Christensen and Winslow Murdoch also scored for the Camels (4-4-1).

    Conn held a 25-6 edge in shots.

    Tommy Derosier scored in the 10th minute to give the Mariners (5-5-1) a quick 1-0 lead. It was his second goal of the season.

    Women's soccer

    • Junior Brigi Palatino scored the game-winning goal early in the second half in Conn College's 2-1 win over Mount Holyoke. Sophomore Ali McKeigue also had a goal for the Camels (4-3-2).

    Girls' volleyball

    • Katelyn Sykora had 12 assists and three aces as Waterford beat Windham 25-14, 25-10, 25-22. Jessica Ryder had eight kills, seven aces and a block for Waterford (9-3) and Alyssa Hancock had six kills and five aces.

    • Stephanie Rush had 25 assists while Jocelyn Smith had 12 kills and Kelsey Armstrong added six kills as Fitch swept Bacon Academy, 25-17, 25-16, 25-13. The Falcons are 8-3 and the Bobcats 6-5.

    • Amanda Joyce had 13 kills and five blocks as Montville rallied to beat Woodstock Academy, 25-19, 19-25, 8-25, 25-23, 15-10. Stephanie Jones had six kills and seven digs for Montville (5-6) and Jackie Jaskiewicz had six kills.

    • Emily Stracuzzi had four kills and Rebecca Ringer added four aces and three kills as East Lyme (11-0) swept Ledyard, 25-6, 25-4, 25-15. The Colonels are 1-10.

    • Griswold swept NFA, 25-13, 25-17 and 25-12. Jessica Synott had five aces and six digs while Nina Wojtkiewicz had 16 kills, eight digs and three aces and Tessa Velasquez had 22 assists and 18 digs, and Jessica Bouchard added 30 digs for the Wolverines (9-3). Kaylyn Levine had 12 kills and Melissa Godere added 13 assists for the Wildcats (3-8).

    • Taylor Collins had 16 points, seven aces and six kills to lead Wheeler past Vinal Tech, 25-11, 22-25, 25-23, 23-25 and 15-8. Sarah Dalton had 15 pionts, eight aces and three digs while Heather Sawyer had 10 points, five aces, six digs, eight assists and four kills for the Lions (5-5).

    Field hockey

    • Hayley Sweets and Sydney Rice scored for NFA in its 2-1 win over Waterford in the ECC. Becca Arpin had 13 saves for NFA (3-5, 3-3). Kassie Lankerd scored for the Lancers (1-6-1, 0-5-1).

    • Alex Steward and Abbi Bravi scored goals to lift Old Saybrook to a 2-1 win over Morgan in a Shoreline Conference match. Jenna Brodeur and Taylor Beck had assists and Mary-Kate Hoey made 11 saves for Old Saybrook (4-3-1, 3-3).

    • Joanie Haling scored all three Fitch goals, including the game-winner in a shootout, in a 3-2 win over Williams School. Elizabeth Nolan and Sarah Giblin had assists for the Falcons. Jocelyn Cole and Carrie Maneo scored for the Blues.

    Girls' swimming

    • Brianna Vetel won the 100 butterfly and swam on the winning 200-medley and 400-freestyle relay teams as Waterford beat Ledyard, 88-80, in the ECC. Kate Tuneski won the 50 freestyle and swam on the winning 400-freestyle relay team for Waterford (4-4, 4-3) and Rachel Crawford won the 100 freestyle. MaryKate Malone won the 100 breaststroke, the 500 freestyle and swam on the winning 400-freestyle relay team for the Colonels (0-7, 0-7) and Caitlin Koshoffer won the 200 freestyle, the 100 backstroke and swam on the winning relay teams.

    • Caroline Gonsalves set a school record by scoring 245.70 points while winning the diving competition, leading East Lyme past Norwich Free Academy, 103-76, in the ECC. Michele Lalonde won the 200 freestyle and Delia Terry took first in the 200 individual medley for the Vikings (9-1, 6-0). Anna Kudej won the 100 butterfly for the Wildcats (3-5, 3-4).

    • Lindsey Nolan won the diving competition with 224.70 points, leading Fitch past Windham, 100-67, in the ECC. Kelly LeBlanc took first in the 50 freestyle and 200 freestyle and Renee Harms won the 100 freestyle and 200 individual medley for the Falcons (6-1, 6-1).
