New London Boys’ and Girls’ Basketball Camp — Aug. 8-11 at New London High School, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. daily. Open to boys and girls entering grades 3-10. Ocean Beach/Kelley Half Marathon — Registration has opened for the 60th annual race, which will be held Aug. 6 with the start (8 a.m.) and finish at Ocean Beach Park in New London. There is no entry fee but runners are asked to bring a donation for the Gemma E. Moran United Way/Labor Food Center. Event information is at kelleyroadrace.com.
