    New York City Ballet master class at Eastern Connecticut ballet

    East Lyme — Sara Mearns, a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet, choreographed a sequence for the dancers as she taught a master class for students at the Eastern Connecticut Ballet Wednesday. Mearns, who has danced with the company annually for their production of The Nutcracker, is teaching classes the remainder of this week for students as part of the school's summer intensive program.
