MAKE A DIFFERENCE
WHO: Jerome, a single father of a 7-year-old and a 2-year-old.
AGENCY: Mystic Area Shelter and Hospitality (MASH) Inc.
HIS SITUATION: Jerome's difficult divorce forced him to close his business. As the sole provider for his children, he works hard as a remodeler, painter and flooring expert. However, the shelter has found that at least once a client refused to pay him.
WHAT TO GIVE: To help with his business and support his children, Mystic Area Shelter and Hospitality recently gave Jerome a used car that he can use to go back and forth to jobs; however he needs money for insurance, registration, plates, gas and ongoing repairs and maintenance.
