Make a Difference: Alliance for Living

Who: The agency has many clients living with a life-threatening disease and no one client’s situation is more dire than others.

Agency: Alliance for Living

Clients' situation: The majority of the clients are living at or below the federal poverty level and depend on SSI or SSDI and food stamps to cover the cost of their rent, utilities and food. Many clients do not have enough food to last the month or can’t afford to pay for their nonfood household needs like personal care items and laundry detergent. Gift card donations to local grocery stores would be much appreciated and a big help to our more needy clients.

What to give: Gift cards from stores that carry household/personal care items, laundry detergent, dishwashing soap, bleach.
