DOT announces lane closures for bridge inspections next week

The state Department of Transportation has announced a list of lane closures for bridge inspections across the state scheduled between Saturday through Friday, Aug. 11.

In the region, the lane closures are as follows:

• Alternating left and right lane closures on Interstate 95 northbound and southbound between Exits 83 and 86 in New London from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

• Alternating left and right lane closures on I-95 northbound and southbound between Exits 83 and 86 in New London from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.

• Local lane closures/lane shifts on Route 12 in Ledyard from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.
