Mystic ― Groton Town Police have announce a traffic advisory for downtown Mystic on Saturday for the 21st Annual Mystic Holiday Lighted Boat Parade.

The event, which also includes the arrival of Santa by tugboat and the lighting of the Christmas tree in Mystic River Park, is expected to draw numerous spectators on both sides of the Mystic River.

Visitors are advised the drawbridge will be open from 5:55 to 6:45 p.m., and heavy traffic should be expected along downtown streets. Traffic on West Main Street (Route 1) will only be allowed to flow westbound at the end of the parade until traffic is decreased.
