Brendan Peters and Emma Hartmann

Mr. and Mrs. Jeffrey Hartmann of Old Lyme announce the engagement of their daughter, Emma Cole, to Brendan John Peters, son of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Peters of East Lyme.

Ms. Hartmann is a graduate of Lyme-Old Lyme High School and New York University. She is a music teacher at PS 225 in Brooklyn and is pursuing a master of education at Loyola University Maryland. Mr. Peters is a graduate of Saint Bernard High School and has an undergraduate degree from Fairfield University and master of science degree from Columbia University. He is a software engineer at 3Forge in Brooklyn.

A September 2018 wedding is planned.
