David R. Brown and Jordan A. D’Angona were married Oct. 12, 2019, at The Lord Thompson Manor in Thompson. The bride is the daughter of Rick D’Angona of San Diego, Calif. and the late Sandra Kownacki D’Angona of Duxbury, Mass. The groom is the son of Russell and Susan Brown of Niantic and grandson of Bobby Adams and the late Isolde Adams of North Stonington.

The ceremony was officiated by long-time friend and Justice of the Peace Valerie Ferdon, Esq. Special readings were given by Chelsea D’Angona (sister of the bride) and Justin D’Angona (brother of the bride). Maid of honor was Jamie Connolly. Bridesmaids included Ellyn Bartell, Katie Callahan, Bethany Dermer, Shannon Doherty, Caitlyn Jensen, and Gabi Jordan. The Best Man was Michael Swenson. Groomsmen were Anish Bhatt, Dan Cristo, Justin D’Angona, Krystal James, Adam and Craig Rezza (cousins of the groom).

The wedding celebration continued throughout the weekend at the Lord Thompson Manor.

The bride graduated from Hartwick College, N.Y. with a Bachelor of the Arts in Business Administration – Marketing and holds a minor degree in Art from Marymount College, Calif. She is the Director of Business Development at Vitamin T in San Francisco.

The groom, an East Lyme High School graduate (2008) obtained a dual Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics and Global Studies from Bentley University. Previously an Account Executive with Cisco Systems Cloud Security Division, he is now an Account Executive for Verkada in the San Francisco Bay area.

They live with their rescue dog, Nola, in the Jack London Square area of Oakland, Calif.
