Yale clinic, Maine legal group unveil online tool for veterans seeking to upgrade discharge status

Pine Tree Legal Assistance and the Yale Law School Veterans Legal Services Clinic are announcing a new online legal resource for veterans nationwide seeking to upgrade their discharge status from the military.

The new tool will be hosted on Pine Tree's "Stateside Legal" website, which was launched with funding support from the Legal Services Corporation and is viewed by thousands of visitors each week. A team of law student interns and veterans' advocates designed the tool to serve as an "online classroom" for veterans who may lack access to legal counsel.

The digital classroom can be found at bit.ly/dischargeUG.
