Norwich — A ceremony to honor the lives lost during the bombing of Pearl Harbor — including Norwich's Michael Quarto and Harold Carlson, who were lost on the USS Arizona — will be held at City Hall Plaza, 100 Broadway, starting at 11:49 a.m. sharp on Friday.
Family members of Quarto and Carlson will be attending the ceremony, which will be put on by the Norwich Veterans Council. The names of all Connecticut residents killed in action that day will be read aloud with the tolling of The Freedom Bell.
