It wasn’t enough that Armando Perez gave himself the stage name Pitbull. Then he added the nickname Mr. 305 (in a nod to his Miami base). Which expanded to Mr. Worldwide.

Based on the reach of all of his hits, I guess he’s earned that “Worldwide” designation.

Rapper/singer/music-industry-Zelig Pitbull has cranked out a seemingly endless stream of chart-toppers himself and with other stars over the years.

Just a brief sampling: “Give Me Everything,” with Ne-Yo, Afrojack, and Nayer; “On the Floor” with Jennifer Lopez; “Timber” with Kesha; and “DJ Got Us Falling in Love Again” with Usher.

If you know those tunes, you’ll realize that his concert Saturday at Mohegan Sun is bound to be one big dance party.
